What do you use as a point and shoot when a dslr is just too big to take in.
My wifes Nikon D7.
That was one of the downfalls of buying a "real" camera.. Not being able to take it into certain events.
My wife's Nikon S6
my girlfriend's canon sd800
sd630. soon to be sd700is
I have a canon S2 as a backup for those events I cant get my real camera into.
Wife's Canon S80
I use a Canon S400.
Nikon D70, with a 30mm f/1.4. It's the smallest, lightest combo I've got.
Casio ex-s600.. more for MPEG4 video capabilities and portability than anything. Full size pic quality sucks
Casio ex-z55. I like, but needs manual control.
me too. I've taken some real good pictures with mine. it's also been dropped a couple times, but nothing a little duct tape on the side couldn't fix
my 20d or 645 is with me 90% of the time
thing is durable, small, and doesnt put out half bad pictures
Canon Powershot A70. A very capable little camera.
A75 here. It's nothing fancy but I've been able to take some fantastic shots with it. Its ease of us is what kept me in the Canon line when picking a DSLR.
which has the best IQ? I was thinking more along the line of a sub compact like the canon sd series. Not so much an A series (since they are hard to fit in pant pockets).
I don't see the point of a subcompact. If I need 0 space, my phone takes images. If I am going anywhere, I can take a small bag with either the 20d, or 645 in it.
Canon S500, use it mostly for videos or cars on vacation.
my father has a fuji P&S and it's 20 times better than my Canon
another SD700 here
I don't want to go to a party or game or whatever, get tanked, and risk fucking my main gear up. I'd rather somebody dump beer on a $250 sub compact, than ruin my body and a nice lens.
