i was shocked to see them release that and confirm the rumors!
i got to work this morning and went
just saw this on another forum...wow, things are getting really exciting with the intel macs now! this is all the more reason for me to buy a mac mini...i just wish they were a little less (i'm cheap)
i understand...i'm really trying to convince myself that $800 for the dual core mac mini is worth it, cause i'll get 2 systems in 1...
maybe this summer
wow i'm very impressed especially since they include all of the drivers which were unavailable with the other solution (only had some)
man, i been kicking around the idea of building a PC b/c i miss playing counterstrike. but now i think i'm going to wait for OSX 10.5 and get a dual core mac mini and just dual boot!
Just saw it. I just need a copy of XP now
i want to kill myself for buying a PPC so late now
fuck, i want a macbook now.
So, could I run my PC version of Warcraft III and Starcraft, etc... if I did this?
uhh any windows program
i have absolutely 0 use for this, but hopefully it encourages some more switchers.
everything i need software-wise is available for OS X in a better form or at least an equivalent.
get that shit out my face!
i'm waiting for someone to bitch about xp and osx and how they wouldn't want one over the other...come on...i'm waiting, oh wait, just check out the multiple other links in the main forum
i like this idea alot, having xp and osx is a dream for me, because i love osx, but i have all windows programs. i know that they're were solutions in the past for running a virtual machine, but it just wasn't up to par compared to this. all the nah sayers are stupid and stuck in they're ways
w00t! i havnt wanted to do this yet beacuse I didnt really want a 'hacked' solution. I'm downloading bootcamp right now for my mbp. i cant wait to be able to run windows (ugh) when I need it!
yeah, just the idea seems cool
intel mac mini running xp media center anyone?
i'll stick with front row
but does front row have dvr like functions?
if you have eyetv software, which i do, then yeah it does.
I might install it just for the old PC games I have lying around.
BTW... this announcement raised Apple stock over 8% today... I think the market views this as a great move.
