Got bored, thanks to thomor25, I duracoated my new toy
WOW, that looks incredible!
Yeah, that's sweet.
why are the last four pics, just of some brown paper...? where's the rifle
just kidding, VERY nicely done!
I guess you went like this:
-black then mask
-white then mask
-finally tan and peel?
looks good, but why not colors applicable for where you live?
someone quote me, im probably on his IL
wow it came out really good man, I got to get one of the holster up. I'll do that tomorrow.
for stupid lol
oh wow, that is so clever. can you please teach me how to do that? lolz
Man thats crazy, great job.
you asked, I had to type something
How'd the compressed air can work? Did it spray pretty evenly?
a period would have worked just as well. now he doesnt even know who said it
my god I suck. that looks amazing, man.
would that throw out the harmonics of the barrel?
Did the scope cost more than the gun?
now he does
that actually looks really good. how did you get the shapes?
cheap-o bushnell scope
Scope- $150 ($170 w/ covers, rings)
Gun - $219
Stock - $149
Suppressor-$425 + $200 tax
Magazine - $30 greddy: i prefer the 10rounder)
Bipod- $70 (already owned it)
$1638 out the door (not including tax)
it worked out pretty well, I would have bought four or five cans of it, i had to break down and buy one of those 1gallon air compressors to finish the job
the air can lasted longer and more evenly when i sat the bottom of the can in water, it makes the shit inside the can boil but maintains constant pressure until its empty
kit comes with some wicked laser cut vinyl templates, it is a total whore to do...but results are worth it, if you mess up it is easy to go back and touch up, most difficult part of touching up is changing colors out in the spray gun
Looks pretty badass man, I was going to do this to my .177 air rifle but I got lazy. I was making all the templates by hand with a roll of blue tape and an exacto knife though
You should write an EDU.
i'm going to do my mossberg 500 and my spotting scope next, so i will take detailed pics
it is more to it than just sticking shit on, you have to understand camoflage theory and breaking up hardlines, etc
it does look freakin sweet
