I've got the Windows exes, but need Linux ones. Any ideas on wher to find them?
There isn't a linux distro, I'm pretty sure people have gotten it to work through wine though . . .
Ouch- so I can't burn directly from a DVDROM to a DVDRW? I don't think I have enough free space on one of my partitions to create a 4.7GB iso, and I don't even want to know how long that would take on a 500MhZ PIII.
I read recently that there is a linux version of Nero available. It supposed to be free for registered Nero users, but I'm sure you could find it.
Nero I'm not too worried about. It's the DVD Decrptying/shrinking software that will be problematic, evidently.
Man that fucking sucks.
Seriously though- aside from the workaround, is there anything else I can do?
And will the Ubuntu directions work in Suse?
thats cuz you dont need that shit in linux
Just use transcode - http://www.transcoding.org/cgi-bin/transcode
This looks promising....
Why do you try to do things the hardest way EVERY time?
I think I might go to albequerque... on foot. via Maine.
What's so hard about burning DVDs in Linux?
//edit: it SHOULDN'T be this hard, anyway.
