Do you just use regular eggs and leave the yolk or do you buy the little cartons?

I'd hate to waste the yolk.
i just ate 5 whole eggs with some baked potatoes and mayo.
madd good son.
I have both eggs and egg whites (carton) on hand at all times.
If i'm not that concerned about fats for the day i'll do a ratio of 3 whole eggs to 4 or 5 egg whites (just toss out the yolk).
If that day I am doing lower fats i'll go for carton of egg whites (to avoid cracking 10 eggs) and just throw in a cup or two of egg whites.

I have 4 egg whites + 2 whole eggs when I have them. The only reason I don't eat all the yolks is mostly because the whites alone have way less calories, and I'm trying to lose weight.
I just buy regular and separate them by tossing it back and forth between the shell halves. I thought about buying a carton of liquid whites, but it was expensive as hell for what you get, it's not worth it. I think it was 6 or 8 bucks for a cup of whites, which is like, 10 egg whites. I spend that much for 36 regular eggs (2 18 packs)
I'll add 1 whole egg to my scrambled whites. I will, however, buy a flat of eggs from the grocery store and hard boil 12-14. Then I shell them, cut them in half, dump the yolks and store the whites in a bowl in the fridge. They make a GREAT late snack or even a quick breakfast with a banana and a shake. Egg burps FTL though.

I have both. Cartoned egg whites for my shakes, whole eggs for everything else.
