Or have any races planned?
Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?
We don't run down here in Florida till September
I did one 10k this summer, it was a midnight run; there's nothing over 10k till October around here.
"WTF is broccoli anyway? Shut up with the Broccoli!"
I spectated the Peachtree (10K) on the 4th of July here in ATL, doesn't really count though.
Lies! Active lists a bunch of races during the summer for FL.
I just did back to back duathlons over the last two weekends.

5ks aren't "runs" they're warmups!
I do a lot of warmups.
I should probably do a couple for speedwork purposes, I'm abominably slow at the moment. But I just got over two weeks of recovery after killing myself in the one 10k I did
I want to give a half-ironman triathlon a shot next summer after I hit my weight goal and build a base now
the swimming will be the hardest part, i suck at long distances
I couldn't run 5k
That's only 3 miles
and? I couldn't run 3 miles continuously right now, but I have a car so its cool. Once I get a forklift I will be able to stop lifting too.
i raced to the toilet before
Did you race as a cyldesdale?
I've been meaning to run some 5ks this year as it's my first year out of XC...but haven't really got around to it. My goal for the next few years is to do a speed triathalon and a 10k.
I just picked up a new pair of shoes.
Its been almost a year since Ive run competitively.
Working on my speed though. Never was a fan of distance. Explosive speed FTW.
Need to get back into shape for soccer season and theres a few 5k's coming up here in Tallahassee.
