I've been busting my ass training for this fight 5 days a week. Last night my body was telling me it needed a break but out of boredom I went and trained anyway. Mother fuck I was so sore I couldn't move. I got the shit kicked out of me in every drill we did. We worked a lot on having a guy on top of us in mount in boxing gloves pounding on us for 2 min and we had to escape. In 4 rotations I got out 2 times. And I got rolled almost everytime. And I'm working with guys who are training for a fight March 14th so they were all going hard. I feel beat to shit from that, and my face is all scratched up and bruised from being cross-faced. Then we were doing some sparring and it went worse. My shoulders were done. I couldn't hit a 12 year old girl. I was just getting worked by leg kicks jabs. My ass is getting off work and laying in bed with a book tonight. Moral of the story is listen to your body, it knows when it needs a break. On a high note my cardio is better than I think its ever been and my weight was 163 this morning. This is going to be an easy cut.
