Do they make one in 10mm?
The jet couldnt handle it so they scrapped the plans.
SR-71 & F-22>everything
I hear that 10mm cures cancer
Even better - 20mm.
The F-35 is the new new hotness if you're into air to ground.
No but seriously I heard some F-22s on the radio the other day doing Cobras and J Turns
I fell in love with them when I first saw them at the SR-71 retirement show.
The SR-71 has kind of lost its uniqueness for me, since I see one all that time outside my internship
Yah and they only had to fire 40,000 people to pay for a few.
We kinda had to do that anyway.
dudes post some photos of this raptor fighter...
sorry to thread jack but did anyone read the article on the olimpic shooters that was on the same page as the article about the f22? 2200 dollar .22lr rifle
Air Force Maj. Mark Gould.
:notrly: It was mostly to pay for the F-22.
Which is a sweet jet, don't get me wrong. The acquisition process was just all jacked up and the AF sacrificed a LOT of stuff to get something that really isn't necessary. IMHO. Priorities are off.
But it is one bad mother fucker. That's for sure.
Also Congress MAKES them that expensive by funding 5 at a time, instead of the whole thing at once. For how much we've paid now we could probably have had twice the number is our elected officials weren't such pussies.
I'll be doing that soon, just in an F-16.
So who gets to pilot the F-22? Do you have to have rank? Just be a badass?
Some guys fresh out of pilot training are getting the Raptor now, but for the most part it's high-quality doods out of Vipers and Eagles, AFAIK.
You had better be able to back that statement up, because you have at least one person in this thread that will call you out in a heartbeat if thats inaccurate.
