How does Lewis have a brand new engine, he has to take a plenty for this one that blew up. Would he get another gird plenty for taking another new ICU? What am i missing here?
Surprised everyone got in on the shoe, so foul.
he took multiple engine penalties at spa. he got several new engines.
so he has engines in the "bank" so he wont need to take penalties in japan etc?
how is that legal?
its a loophole that got closed for next year during some meetings a week or so ago
Ohhh thats some shit, god i dislike that team so much ha.
Ferrari and McLaren have used it as well this year I believe. Got to be teams with money to just have a shit ton of extra engines.
U have to wonder how many solicitors and analysts they employ just to identify those loopholes
When McLaren/Honda did it, I think Alonso ended up with a 105 grid spot penalty. The reason it worked for this year was they made it so that your grid penalties don't carry over to the next races. Last year if you had done it you would have still started on the last row even if you qualified on pole for the next 4-5 races with how big his penalty was.
Luckily for the championship Hamilton did stockpile.
How boring would it be if Hamilton had to win all 5 remaining t races AND start from last place at one.
Now he only has to win all 5
Barbie better not win Japan, someone take him out. Vettel? Verstappen? Kvyat?
Track is damp but drying at the start of practice 3.
Mclaren are foolish not to curb button and put Strüdel van damme in the car for the rest of the season
Nico punked Lewis again.
Nico does it again
Senna Prost III is what you're about to see.
Bathurst going to carry me nicely through until the race
what the fuck bros
Saying Nico would be an undeserving champion is laughable. If Lewis could actually put up a good start and outqualify his teammate on a regular basis, meaning more than 1/2 the time (Lewis - 8 to Nico 7), Nico wouldn't be leading the championship. That start by Lewis was laughably bad, yet again.
you get points for qualy?
Yeah, because sitting on pole doesn't represent an advantage in F1. Especially into turn 1. Come on now.
TIJL: Qualifying position means nothing; especially when you suck at starts.
i never said rosberg wouldn't deserve a championship. if you have the points you deserve it.
i don't think he'd have a points lead if it wasn't for lewis' reliability issues though.
pole position might give you a greater probability of winning, but if you don't that doesn't mean anything. especially if you set your car up to qualify rather than setting it up for race distance.
