I really like him more and more  that three way tussle at the end was entertaining and seb. V. Max when Max chucked it lol

I hope arrivabene stays with Ferrari. And it was nice to see Seb on the podium in red on the day of another deadly earthquake in Italy.

I wish Mike were here to chat, I always looked forward to his slang and analysis :hs:

Dan kinda got nerfed too. I agree that vettel totally blocked wayyyy before the apex of turn 4, after taking his set for staying behind max. So "moving under braking" kinda fits. I don't think Lewis deserves a penalty for his start turn one nerf because the guy behind him blew it too and Lewis wasn't guaranteed to come back on in the lead lol.

Dan is more polished every race. His post race interview on nbcsn with Townsend bell was really good.

Ending was fun... I get what's going on in Seb's head. Max should have been told by FIA to surrender the position immediately. He backed Vettel into Ricciardo and Seb just wasn't going to let that happen. Daniel never would have had that shot if Max surrenders the position immediately as he should have.

I agree that normally the stewards would have made a determination prior to that seb Dan incident. But I also liked that shift in precedent. Let them figure it out on track more, less depending on stewards rulings in the moment to affect strategy and outcomes. It says to the drivers, "sure we are going to make a ruling, but we will do it on our time, so if you want to avoid uncertainty, self regulate on track". I hope it's a message from the American ownership.

Ok so the justification for use of the moving under braking rule that was clarified in Austin is that Sebs move was dangerous? I think that's a stretch. It was a deliberate move under braking but yah here we are. Lol

    Fun race at the end.

I think Nico's got this title unfortunately. Lewis is doing everything possible but we need Verstappen to take him out

Nico can clinch it with a win in Brazil :noes:

I think he plays the safe game, and slow rolls this into the final race. Nico won't push for it.

Sky is reporting high exhaust temps on hamiltons engine. May indicate an issue with the PU, may be nothing.

Remember last season when the FIA was overlaying thermal images of the tires onto the cars regular camera shot? They were pushing that for awhile, I wonder if they got wind of reporters or something getting too much data for real because I haven't seen almost any of that thermal imagery this season.

Imo if Hamilton wants the title he needs rain at Brazil. Abu Dhabi is never wet, Rain is Rosberg's real weakness and I could see him potentially lose a lot of positions.

Rain is common at Brazil too.
