Like Raikkonen eeked out a championship by 1 point, Senna eeked out that 3 point championship, Schumi with his initial championship by 1 point, Lauda with a 1/2 point championship, Hunt by a point, etc etc etc. Your post shows your ignorance.

I would love to eek out a F1 championship.

Shit race starts combined with abusing the equipment caused Hamilton the championship. If one driver repeatedly has more failures in comparison to their teammate's history of reliability, then it's not the car failing.

He won due to Hamilton's misfortunes not his talent. Comparing him to Senna or Schumi shows your ignorance.

I like how you completely skipped over the multitude of other drivers who have "eeked out" F1 championships.

In what way? It's obvious Hamilton traded performance for reliability at times. Combine that with his shitty starts and inability to out qualify Rosberg at important parts of the season, and that is exactly why he lost the championship.

Plus, I'm more qualified at discussing operating a complex high strung machine at the edge of its limits, and how there is an immediate trade off with reliability when you do so, than almost anyone on this forum.

I stopped paying attention to your point after you compared Rosberg to two of the best drivers to ever race.

What, Raikkonen? Yeah he won by a tiny margin. Kimi has been one of the biggest wastes of space since his title.

I'm not so sure I'd pick Mercedes over Red Bull with the big aero changes.

I suspect Max is an easier team mate than Lewis too. Max at least throws away quite a few points with mistakes.

But he's at least entertaining, and seems like a pretty fun chap.

    Nico is an insufferable cunt.

    Good riddance.

    Yeah I agree.

I couldn't care less about Rosberg retiring, will anyone even notice he's gone?

I just hope they put someone good in his seat, like Alonso to give Hamilton a proper challenge. Not wehrlein or bottas.

    Probably the most likely options.

Just about every viable option to partner ham is going to get destroyed by him.

I'm talking 2014 kimi vs Alonso numbers.

Its going to be someone boring. I think Bottas would do ok, not great, but he wouldn't be embarrassed.

Wehrlein is apparently a bit of a pita to work with.
