You guys see this? Thoughts? Should we be removing our photography pages?
That's pretty lame...
it didn't notify me of any changes...
can they just change things around like that and assume everyone reads the TOS every day?
I only found it because someone i'm friends with joined the 'anti policy change' group.
I swear to god, there are groups for fucking anything on that site.
but yeah, then a half hour ago, I saw the story again on the local news here. Which made me start actually thinking about it.
I know some places put a "we can change it whenever the fuck we want without notification" clause in their TOS' but I'm not sure of the legality of all that.

This isn't a privacy issue. This has always been in Facebook's ToS. The controversy in the ToS now is that they're trying to reserve the right to maintain copies even after they have been removed from the site; however, they don't retain the licenses to use your work.
I'm not sure way this change in particular would make you want to remove your work from Facebook as they have always had full license to use your work however they saw fit so long as it was posted on their site.
