Some former co-workers and associates and I who all have backgrounds in website development, graphic design, email marketing, etc have decided to form a small company to run everything under.

We're trying to get feedback on a few names we've come up with. I put together a small poll trying to gather some feedback about names.

If you guys have a second, can you fill this out?

    Thanks :coold:

Part of the issue is finding a name that has a URL open that we can somewhat associate with it :(

thought of what I think is a great name and is pretty catchy but the url is kinda long and already registered. However, it's just a blank page and expires in May :noes:

    Devoted Development :dunno:

Interesting idea. I wish squatting wasn't as prevalent. Picking company names would be much easier, lol.

Took me and my developer weeks to come up with a name, and neither of us even like the one we decided on.

Yeah me and my business partner spent 3-4 weeks coming up with names, picked on, reg'd ALL the domains for it, used it for a few weeks, and it never sat right. Then he woke up one day, calls me, goes "dude.. <insertnewname>".. it clicked instantly.. 7 characters, instantly pronouncable/easy-to-spell, available as all major TLDs.. :big grin:

It's worth waiting, and finding the name that "clicks", cos once you're operating, it's a bastard to change your name, business cards, etc etc :hsd:

Don't worry so much about the name. Your skill/portfolio will sell, not a catchy name.

Just make sure its to the point and not vague.
