I sent my Macbook Pro in for repairs and they ended up replacing the hard drive (which had no problems). Good thing I have TIME MACHINE. Except apparently my iMac took a shit last week (I was out of town) because it won't turn on. I can't restore from my Time Machine drive because I was using it over the network, hosted from my iMac, and it won't let you access the network-backups by plugging in the drive directly (brilliant). So now I have a fucking bricked iMac G5 (out of warranty) and a blank MBP with backups of both machines. I'm not sure what to do about the iMac but I guess I will try sharing my drive from our mac at work. Oh yeah, and my MBP won't stop running the fans at full throttle.
