Brief summary of what's happened so far : I have been gaining fat / losing strength in the gym, have no energy, been sleeping 12 + hours a night, cannot get an erection, have irritiability, lack of concentration - text book symptoms of low testosterone. I went to my doctor, they did bloodwork and verified that my testosterone was moderately low (300's). I went to an endocrinologist and he wanted me to have another round of bloodwork a month after seeing him (which was almost a month after my original bloodwork). Today I went back to see him for my second consultation with the new bloodwork. He told me that my testosterone isn't causing the symptoms, he pretty much passed up everything I told him about energy / tiredness / fat gain / muscle loss / irritability / concentration. The only symptom he wrote on my sheet was Erectile Difficulty. He somewhat accused me of using steroids or PH's last consultation and this time he did the same thing, he didn't outright say "i think you've been taking steroids" but he wouldn't leave the subject alone, he kept reminding me that there are legal OTC products i can get that are like steroids and kept asking me if I've used them (over and over again..). Finally he said "in that case, I don't know waht's wrong, but it's not your testosterone" he scheduled me for more bloodtests in 2 months and gave me some viagra. I'm pissed and needless to say am changing endocrinologists. As of today, I am retiring from weightlifting (although I'll still be in the forum) until I get this problem under control, but I cannot take watching my lifts drop everytime I'm in the gym.
