I started this one around March of 04. It took 3 sessions of about 2 hours each with the completion date being around June 10th. The new tattoo is the obviously dark one with the tribal lines and Stargazer lilies. (The lower one is about 3 yrs old, of hibiscus flowers and ivy). All the work on the newest was done at a fucking amazing shop called "Lost Art Tattoo" in Salt Lake City by a terrific guy named Gailon. (for my fellow SLC kids) Anyway, I took these pics around July while on a trip to Texas..then left the camera there.. Finally got the camera back. The color I wear now is STILL about as brilliant as what you see now. Im still very very happy. As for why I went with the design I did, I am absolutely in love with Stargazer lilies..theyre strikingly beautiful and smell like cinnamon. This design, by the way, was drawn on my back freehand first, with a red pen, then he went over it. I was seriously impressed. Okay! Less talk, more pics! Oh, and yes...this hurt like a bitch. Those two top flowers actually hurt the worst..the rest was rather bearable. Surprisingly enough to me, the tribal didnt hurt much at all.
