i haven't watched too many photography videos, but that one is awesome
Makes me want an UMbre-la
the way he says umbrella annoys me like no other.
I really didn't like the dude, but the information was good.
In for this
He's not photogenic, and he's not a good speaker... but god DAMN the man knows his lighting. The results are amazing. I watched all of the first DVD last night and about 30 minutes of the 2nd one today. I feel like I know so much more, just by watching... and I haven't even put any of his style to use.
Please Mister, i would really like to see them too!

yeah he's awesome
most of that vid was shot right around the corner from me. I think I've even seen him shooting on the street before
i sent you a link a day or two ago. but i suppose another round can go out and i'll through you in there again
and the whole time... cheap/old glass, D200, and affordable flash units. His work is inspiring. The first section of the DVD when he was taking pictures of that lady in the empty room w/ white walls, I thought the pics looked great until he started shooting at angles, light behind her, closing the UMbrella, etc... thats when I went
The rest of the DVD was just as good.
I know, right?
so is this entertaining to watch or is it going to be pretty dry
More educational than entertaining, its not dry.
lol you pm'd me to watch me and never gave me a link I because i couldn't find it anywhere.
I told you guys it was awesome.
Naw bro, in the first part its a D200, the 2nd part its a D2 or D3.
"Clap your hands like you're in a black gospel choir"
i wonder if him and david hoby have any beef. lol
it inspired me I can't wait to get my small softbox
I was shooting earlier and it reminded me of his vid when my UMbre-lla kept falling. Good vid
I just went and used the excuse of my busted stand to buy an UMbre-lla and a new stand w/ the mount and a 'brass monkey'
