I see you're going to have to get used to this camera...
But I do like the chairs one
I snapped 100 pics getting used to the iso, f/stops, exposure, etc.
I have a lot to learn.
Don't feel bad, I'm in the same boat. Except you got a head start on me, my camera is still in the mail
What did you get?
Chairs one is way cool.
where have you been man, i've only been talking about getting my new camera for the past whole week!
And I see you went against the word of OT and got the D50. Oh well, as long as you're happy and I see that you are.
I had to look at the cost side of things, and I wanted new, not used.
And I'm nuts about this camera. I have a few friends (In real life, too!) that use Nikon, and said that the D50 is an excellent camera.
Yea I'm the same way, I coulda saved acouple hundred and got a used 20d but meh.. My past experiences with buying used stuff hasn't been very good, so I figured I'd save myself the headache.
Well have fun with your Notcannon!
I like the shot taken at the end of the barrel looking out and the chairs.
Nice pic, could've been better if you panned upward more and had the chairs in the lower portion of the picture. Circular polarizer would've helped give the sky more color.
Yeah I have had mine since Xmas and still dont know what the fuck to do with it cept point and shoot
Someone is making up for size somewhere else
I just got the camera today -- gonna learn how to use it with the lens it came with before getting filters and other lenses. I"m a DSLR newbie.
pretty good ... mind you i think you should use some of the semi automatic modes ... no real need for fully manual and you have your metering on spot ... 3dmatrix works better for most of thoes shots .. maybe a bit of center weighinting
I was always told not to use auto settings if I want to advance in photography.
But thanks for the criticism. I'm learning AGAIN lol.
well NEVER USE FULLY AUTO (unless you are drunk) but this might help:
I use autofocus.
werd ... get used to the af options and such
in fact read your manual ... break it up into 4 nights .. but do it .. and try out EVERYTHING as you read it .. honestly i found out soo much and it improved my photography with my d70s
Awesome! Thanks for the tips!
I did read the manual today, tho -- I somehow managed to set my focus point to the left --- couldn't figure out why everything to the left was clear
hahahah ... usualy i have the problem that i want to change the focus while looking through the viewfinder and wonder why nothing is happening .. usualy its cuz the menu/image review is on
ugh i still have to read my sb-800 and sb-600 flash manuals ... i swear the 800 one is larger than my d70s one
