Yah I don't think that's the problem. Even when I saw my gyno last she said my muscles inside were tight and I should see a massage therapist that specializes in woman's health.Idk, the best thing for my back was ditching the shitty memory foam top mattress and getting a medium-firm mattress without the soft stuff on top. Ymmv.
Oh, I had that after my last kid. You don't have the separated ab muscles, do you (I forget what that's called)? Otherwise, that PT had me do kiegels. (I'm not sure if I spelled that right, but its the Monday after spring-forward time change, so I'm just going with that.)Yah I don't think that's the problem. Ohhh no nothing like that. I have endometriosis and adenomyosis and I triggered a positive on my rheumatoid factor, meaning I have inflammation somehow. Specialist hopefully will diagnose me with something or at least do more tests.Oh, I had that after my last kid. You don't have the separated ab muscles, do you (I forget what that's called)? Oh, yikes. I hope they can get you some relief.Ohhh no nothing like that. I have endometriosis and adenomyosis and I triggered a positive on my rheumatoid factor, meaning I have inflammation somehow. Specialist hopefully will diagnose me with something or at least do more tests.
I have issues with my abs too where they will hurt if I put too much pressure on them, sounds dumb but they will ache if say my husband lays on me watching TV.
Well they ruled out Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus so far lolOh, yikes. I hope they can get you some relief.
I've lost so much strength.
I lost weight so fast it was inevitable I would lose muscle mass and strength but holy fuck. I'm doing maybe 50% in pounds what I was doing 6 years ago when I was still lifting. Before that I'd gone 10+ years without lifting and max bench only dropped from 285 to 210. I don't think I could put up 135 right now.
Going to be a long road back.
My wife would kill me for this, but I bought her a wand they sell for massaging the pelvic muscles. I think it's even called that. But she says it helps. Might be worth a shot. Guess it works differently then the normal toys.Yah I don't think that's the problem. I sure hope so, I feel like such a pussy now. It's surprising how fast it comes back, especially if you have already been fit before, even if you take a long time off. It also helps because you have probably developed proper form from your years training, which is HUGE! Noobs who don't use good form take much longer to develop than someone who knows what's up. It's just a grind you gotta get into and before you know it you'll be back.
No you don't!17 days until I can eat pizza, drink alcohol, and go back to my old life
But … do I really want to go back![]()
I’m in the same boat. We may not get back to our strongest at the moment I’m more interested in getting some of my mobility and flexibility back anyway.I've lost so much strength.

I rarely do crunches. IIRC planks are safer for your back and have similar benefits. How many crunches should a motherfucker do? Are we supposed to do them every day? I've never really needed to do them because I've always had a naturally slim/athletic build but I think it's time to start.
I've actually got decent flexibility, especially with less weight. But the strength stuff, I can even see it in my upper body. Yikes.I’m in the same boat. We may not get back to our strongest at the moment I’m more interested in getting some of my mobility and flexibility back anyway.
Keep at it. I’m hoping for some noob gains and muscle memoryI've actually got decent flexibility, especially with less weight. But the strength stuff, I can even see it in my upper body. Yikes.
Percussion gun and heat, dry needling, and soft touch massage with stretching. Usually a couple sessions with all 3 will set me straight for a couple monthsFuck.. my neck is still fucked up. I'm not sure if I should see a massage therapist, my doctor, take more pills??? I've done hot/cold packs and took ibuprofen, stretched, husband massaged...
I'm not sure I can do a 5hr drive to Vancouver tomorrow feeling this shitty.
What do you fools do for muscle kinks?
