That combines two pieces of survival gear into one.
Definitely don't shine it into your eyes
Sweet its cheaper than most surefires too
4100 lumens is insane
Mounting one on my Glock tomorrow...hope it doesn't melt the frame
I'll wait for a $100 model.
can I have a 2050 lumen one with a strike bezel?
Looks like a modified Mag lite. You could probably make one yourself.
the question is... how many seconds do the batteries last?
15 min according to one article.
then this thing isnt even slightly practical.
damn near useless as a flashlight
and id rather carry a tiny lighter then a gigantic flashlight as a firestarter
I should get some for my car
Starting fires with flashlights isn't anything too new. A Mag85 mod will start fires in the right conditions. And my Mag 100, 2800 Lumens, will start newspaper on fire pretty quickly.
But ya, not practical at all, short runtimes and they're too heavy for survival use. My Mag100 runs for 9 minutes on a charge. It's more of a toy light than a tool.
