probably been answered but when you guys do your workouts (specifically for Pur's regimen), especially for B/S/D are you guys ramping up to a top set or keeping a static weight? i'm currently doing a 5x5 routine and keeping the weight static during each workout but increasing every workout and although it's made me a shitload stronger in a matter of months, the constant squatting is really killing me :wtc:

    werd.

    compound movements before isolated.

my order which i find works best for me for Pur's routine is :

    -Squats or Lunges
    -Leg Press
    -Leg Extensions
    -Leg curls

is it still okay to warm up on leg extensions? or should i just throw in 2 more light sets of squat to begin with?

What's the consensus on leg extensions here? Do them or not? If not, what should be substituted for them?

when doing lat pulldowns i find myself leaning back slightly and arching my back throughout the whole movement... im not jerking the weight and leaning back.

is this okay? or should i be sitting straight up and down, and pulling the cable directly vertically instead of slightly towards my chest?

    Pre-exhaustion work.

However, if you plan to go heavy or go for a PR on squats you might want to skip it.

whats the purpose of the PWO gatorade?

anything i can substitute for it? preferrably a solid food?

after downing 32oz of water during my workout, and another 20oz of PWO shake, im not really in the mood to drink another 16oz of liquid, haha
