For sale- My 2008 M5 SMG, pristine

Looking for a pristine loaded BMW M5 SMG? I have a stunning 2008 model for you. This model comes w/ BMW’s Life Cycle Impulse update; unlike earlier models, 2008 models have upgraded LED headlights/taillights, updated interior, & 2 new options- soft close doors & heated steering wheel.

Always been garaged, hand washed w/ microfiber towels, & was recently detailed. No wheel curb rash, no dents; the car is pretty close to flawless. Of course there are a few micro sized rock chips & nearly invisible hairline marks as expected on a 4 yr old car w/ 47,000 miles; you have to have your face right in front of the car to see anything. Car has never been in an accident, never smoked in, never seen snow, & never tracked. Impeccable Carfax. Brake pads/rotors were replaced within the last year, so there will be no out of pocket costs on these in the near future. Clutch works seamlessly. New tires and a new battery were just added.

BMW factory powertrain plus extended warranty available on this car; add$2300 for a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty extension, $3300 for a 2 year/24,000 mile warranty extension, and $4400 for a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty extension for that piece of mind.

MSRP was $99,080 before tax.

Options include:

· Perforated merino leather w/ alcantara roof liner $3,500

· 18-way heated M multifunction seats w/ active width adjustment $1,900

· Comfort access $1,000

· Head-up display $1,200

· SIRIUS satellite radio $595

· iPod/USB adapter $400

· Heated steering wheel $200

· Rear airbags $385

· Soft close automatic doors $600

· Power rear sunshade $575

· Front ventilated seats $800

· Split folding rear seats $475

· Custom Window Tint $350

Standard features include:

507hp 8,250rpm V10, SMG 7-speed paddle shift transmission w/ 11 shift programs, real time traffic, updates, Bluetooth phone, 3 suspension settings, 19 inch wheels, xenon adaptive headlights, sunroof, park distance control, rain-sensing wipers, folding side mirrors, Logic7 audio system w/ 13 speakers, and metallic paint.

Cool cars for sure. Good luck on the sale. Quick question: whats with the 80's looking speakers in the door? Is that factory?

OEM speakers are often made of paper. It's a material everyone's familiar with, so they don't have to worry about people complaining about the speakers sounding tinny or harsh. With dense grilles like that car has, it wouldn't really matter what color the cones are because you'd never see them...unless you happened to pop a flashbulb directly at them.

That's the factory Logic 7 stereo system, which is actually an upgrade in the 3 series. :hs:

It's not a bad stereo....13 speakers including 2 speakers.

That explanation didn't really say anything. I wasn't talking about the material of the speaker but the fact that there is a Best Buy looking speaker in the door panel.

The original statement didn't really say anything either. So the speaker looks like beige unbleached paper fiber instead of black dyed paper fiber. Big whoop. I was just saying it looked like a normal OEM speaker to me because of the material it appears to be made from, and BMW almost certainly didn't care about the color because nobody would ever see it through the tiny holes in the grille.

:ugh: No. Please focus. I am questioning why there is a round speaker grill that looks like it was installed at Best Buy by a high school kid in the door. I expected there to be speaker with a specially formed speaker grill or better yet a speaker grill that you can't tell is there...

Well now that I know you're talking about the grille instead of the speaker behind the grille, your confusion about my post makes a bit more sense.

Perhaps you see why I was also confused about your post. You didn't mention the grilles anywhere.

Hancook tires dead give away of a non baller owner. Did you use the BMW recommended 10-60 or did you cheap out on that too?

It's Hankook, not Hancook, and the Ventus V12 tires are some of the best bang for your buck performance tires on the market. Why would I waste an extra $1000 on a car I was about to sell? :ugh2:

God you're dumb.

And the car is sold.
