wow, too bad im soooo broke right now. I might have to buy it anyways
Damn, good lookin' out Girth. *pulls out debit card, pays for lens and flowers for girlfriend*
yea, Im waiting for my new debit card to come. Should be here monday, I think im going to do it, Ive been wanting a dedicated macro lens (instead of my sigma 70-300 "macro"
trying to frame up a shot at 200-300 mm is way to difficult, and most the time im to lazy for the tripod
Edit: didnt realize that was used, and for a nikon. great deal though
I had $100 in cashback rewards from Discover card. Credit that to my account and spend $150 more.... Happy 4th of July to ME!!!
Saw that after I ordered it, but for that price I couldn't pass it up. Specially if it cost me $150 at the end.
Yeah I saw a Nikon 60mm f/2.8 macro on craigslist for $300 yesterday, I almost grabbed it, but I'd rather have the 28-70 right now.
Definitely post pics, my next purchase is likely to be a macro.
Yeah I've wanted one of these but I'm saving right now a D300
very tempting...very very tempting... New is $350 after the $90 rebate...
god I love my tamron 90mm.
Thing is so sharp I have actually had to blur some images in PP.
It's like shooting with a fucking electron microscope.
I almost actually sent my 80-200 2.8 into Nikon because I thought the pics were off.
Turns out I was just comparing em to images from the Tamron. Which isn't fair.
puts some of my expensive L glass to shame.
sign me up.
search for a Canon one?
I looked in the Canon used section for you... nothing.
Pics taken with this lens? I never knew Tamron made such a sharp lens.
I really really really want this lens but it would be cutting into the D300 fund.
and how far are you into the D300 fund?
My copy nearly wide open @ f/4
as soon as I get it, thats what I'm trying it on.
Damn, you guys were kidding...that is beautiful
I mean I have the money now to buy it of course but I usually wait till I get cash payments from some of my clients to splurge on stuff like this
