In for some FordGT vs 360/355 vids soon
That was one of the greatest commercials I've seen in some time.
I can't imagine how fucking cool I'd feel if I had one....
I don't know if the engine sound in the Superbowl commercial was real or not, but it was orgasmic
kinda easy to just switch the pulley and get that extra 50hp.
Still a phenomenal bargain for 50k more.
I want one.
link to the new commercials?
thats to celebrate this thread.

Its real shifting with real sounds
I wonder if the GT is really an under rated car, or if that's a mistake?
It's hard to say, it all depends on how aggressive the stock programming is.
I mean, look at the cobra. It is rated at 390hp, and clearly it is at least 400 at the crank. Guys are making insane gains just buy dumping the crappy stock exhaust and air intake.
The GT has .8L more displacement, is running a much more efficient twin screw supercharger, and has higher compression.
You KNOW that just with those differences, and the less restrictive intake and exhaust that is sure to be on that car, it could easily be making more than the original claimed 100hp difference.
So when are the Ford tuners going to get a hold of these things and start playing with them? I want to see some dyno sheets.
