See if it's got phosphated internals. They'll be a slightly different color. Otherwise it's just a regular P226 with an anchor on the slide.

The P226 doesn't have any changes except for early-mid 90's when manufacturing moved from Germany to the US, but Navy P226s have always been made in the US afaik.

You might check the for sale ads on sigforum.com and do some comparison shopping, but $700 doesn't sound to bad if it is an actual Navy model and not just one of the regular P226s with the anchor like zcp said. Very good condition regular P226 with a couple mags in original box should be right around $600 or so.

Only that one special run had serials of NSW. There are plenty of Navy P226's running around with serials starting with U.
