Its a party!
is this that dumb 1 day no ad thing? o well...i'll have to find a real code sometime.
I believe it's a no-ad version free for one day and remains no ad version afterwards, rather than no ads for one day only and then ads after that day. Can anyone confirm?
really? well i'll be able to tell this time tomorrow lol. took away ads immediately though.
EDIT: from another forum "Note: For one day only, you can get an ad-free version of Opera. Simply e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a registration code. This offer is valid from 12 a.m. Tuesday, August 30 to 12 a.m. Wednesday, August 31 2005 (PDT)."
i think its ad-free forever. at least i HOPE so lol.
EDIT 2: damn...they are free. From Opera itself - "Party favors: Get a free Opera registration code by clicking the "go free" button below. We're giving away registration codes for as long as the party lasts!" - Download.com is being referred to, front page
sry if this is obvious to everyone else...i was jsut skeptical.
It's hard to believe that a company would actually do this. Don't think it will completely replace my firefox, but its sweet to have none the less.
yup, same here. now i got 3 browsers! lol.
i got a few extra keys, with diff e-mails. i dunno what for...security i guess lol.
Yea, you don't even need to use different e-mails. Each generates a new one.
oh...wow...thats not too smart. i guess they want to get free copies out though lol.
