are there any really worthwhile games for macs? should I just get bootcamp?
can't stand wow
I still play warcraft III
Boot Camp ftw!
I've got the entire Half Life plaitnum edition, everything runs flawlessly. I think like unreal championship 2004 is out, and there are a few War games out, but nothing spectacular. My only complaint is that I still can't get my bluetooth apple keyboard to sync when I'm in Windows, so I have to take my macbook pro off my iCurve and put it flat on my desk
I don't either this will be for when I'm in academic lab at school with no internet
I love the video card in my MBP, I've been living off Dawn of War and its expansions as of late...
I guess I'm going to have to obtain an xp serial number...
any boot camp users planning on getting vista when it arrives?
i play most of my games on xp... it runs fantastic... .
Boot camp no likey vista.
solvable with an update?
There's no point or advantage to installing Vista.
Would have to be an update to Vista, methinks - it wants to talk to the BIOS and it's not there.
Maybe when DX10 games start coming out... but the MBP vidja card isn't going to keep up with that stuff.
DX10 isn't even worth it . It's just a push by MS to get people to upgrade to Vista. Until Carmack writes games for DX10, there's no point.
meh... im happy with my 256 mb... it doesnt hesitate to play games at full res....
Me too! It hasn't stumbled yet. I mean, the fans are pretty much up to 90% when I'm in Windows, but I honestly believe that Windows makes the machine run hotter.
windows definately maxes out the computer....
in macOS it doesnt even get warm....
do games that have recently come out play well on a macbook pro? or are the flawlessly played ones all about a year old?
Aspyr converts pretty much all the hot games to Mac.
Call of Duty
Call of Duty
i play medieval 2, bf2142 the most... both spectacular
I've decided the MBP isn't quite enough machine to run Rainbow 6: Vegas.
what, don't any pcs use EFI yet?
