Would anyone be game?
Each have X amount of days to make a song and then submit for peer review. There would be more details to be worked out like if people can use their own sounds beyond what's built in and such, but it would be interesting I think.
I rather have a Logic contest.Garageband =Logic's retarded little cousin.
I'm down... Where can I host?
One of the free hosting sites? Haven't figured that one out. I've got some server space, but I don't want it to be whored out
Here's something I threw together several days after I got my mac
i opened garageband, but its jsut so confusing for me :-/
anyone know any place for tutorials or anything
i dont know how to do that..
If you can't handle Garage Band...
Sounds a cool idea. I need a Keyboard for this project Are real sounds allowed?
now my goal is to master that program
Can't see why not.
Then when we pic the best song, we could have a re-mix contest
I produce alot of trance electronic songs with GB on my PBG4 and Desktop G5 using a M-Audio Keystation 49e, M-Audio Trigger Finger, and the iControl soundboard and have made some crazy shit so far. If anyones interested, ill post some on Usendit.
make yourself some dj friends
Here's a short preview of my go at it. http://www.lextech.org/images/stuff/groovemixdown.aif
Here's something I've been fiddling with. Some good songs so far!
PS - There's nothing on the domain btw
Go for it. Once you start the ball rolling you can lose hours fiddling with the loops and synths.
In! So what are the rules?
In. I'm pretty new with it but I'm still game.
Not sure yet, I just kinda threw it out there. I'll make up some tonight and get people's feedback on them.
that's pretty badass mang. i like the ending a lot for some reason. i had no idea you can do all that with GB
