Okay, so my gf's car is acting a little wierd and I think this is where I post for advice. She drive a '97 chevy Malibu V-6 that normally gets 260 miles on a 12 gallon tank in the city. I guess thats what, 21 mpg. In the past three weeks (roughly 2 tanks of gas) she has realized that it is only getting close to 200 miles per tank (16 mpg). She is using the same gas station as always (HEB), and the tires are fine, so its not something stupid like low tires. There is no leak coming from the tank, and from looking at it and the line feeding off of it it doesn't look rusted or have any holes coming from it. Oil has just been changed 2 weeks ago and the fluids are fine, no wierd noises, smells, etc. Any idea whats going on?
