http://www.weaponvideos.org/members/viewvideo/247/Gemtech_G5_silencer_military_style_testing/ This is recreating a military test in which six AAC silencers survived. In this test, the Gemtech G5 failed after 240 rounds by the mount ... all » unscrewing. We repaired that, and continued. At around 750 rounds a critical roll pin in a high-pressure area failed. The silencer guts came out easily, and were not welded as Gemtech said. The spring was cooked and had little tension left. The Titanium fractured. Best to not use springs, roll pins, or Titanium inside a silencer body. Full penetration welding combined with only high temperature rated metals (Little known fact: Ti is a lower-temp metal) is the way to go.
