    No panic, they won´t demobilize this unit, especially after the bombings in Madrid and London and before the Soccer Worldcup in 2006 ;)

    Those SEK and MEK units are also very good, but more for things like havy bank robbery, "normal" hostage taking etc. Against real terrorists only the GSG9 is the real thing in my opinion.:)

    With any luck TAG East won't have to get involved next year, I'm somehat pessemistic though given the Commonwealth games will be held here.

    KSK is a little bit different, because it´s military and designed for different especially military operations. So a compare will be very difficult.

    is there any challenges for special forces units to compete against each other, im curious how our JTF unit would do

    Well our KSK belongs to the "Bundeswehr", the german army.
    They aren't used in germany, but in other countries, for example in afghanistan right now.

    KSK belongs to the german DSO (Divison for spezial Operations).
    In DSO are: The german paratroopers, KSK and the Kampfschwimmer (German Navy Seals).
