and i feel free!!
Details or this is pointless.
i was talking to my friend about my recent ex that i had been down on today and i realized i actually feel the same way!
Why did you she dump you?
How long were you two together?
I am 6 months out of a several year long relationship and although I still miss her a lot and think about her I cannot help to have my moments of appreciating my freedom as well. It feels good to only worry about yourself and not be stressed about your S/O all the time and know that you can make decisions for yourself and not consider how they will affect the relationship and your future.
We were together a good three years. She had been wanting to get married, but I did not think the time was right because we are both still in college living off our parents with no jobs.
So she decided she had been waiting long enough and called it quits. At first i was pretty sad, but now I do not feel bad or sad or anything.
Yep, I totally approve of that break up! Good for you. I can't stand irresponsible young people who get married and still don't even technically live on their own/pay for themselves.
Yeah, i tried breaking down the situation a hundred times for her. Showing her how financially unstable we would be.
I blame "engaged and underage" on MTV!
congrats. She needs to mature. Obviously she wasn't even ready for marriage.
Good for you man!
There is no reason for people in college and still living off their parents to be getting married. It's stupid and irresponsible.
You definitely did the right thing here. Take some time for yourself now and when you feel upto it try finding a girl that is more about just having fun and having a good relationship and not in such a hurry to engage in that life changing event.
sounds like one of my ex's
we were together just shy of three years when we finally broke up for good.
She wanted the relationship to be more serious (whatever that ment to her because she swore it was not marriage and we were already living together at the time) and I did not. I kept telling her that there was no where for it to go at the moment. We both still had to finish school, learn better money management etc...
3 years later i am finally getting my shit together, back in school and doing well, paid off my CC's etc...
last I heard she dropped out of college, had A LOT of one night stands, gained a bunch of weight and now works as a manager of a candy store in a local mall
You are much better off now
