GUN Glock 17 with a dark grey slide?

    I thinking about buying a glock 17 that is slightly used for $450. The slide on it is dark grey. The guy at the gun store said he only got a few of them in and that they are kinda rare or soemthing. Do they come like this from the factory or did someone do it? I have never seen this combo thats why im asking. :dunno:

    It didn't come from the factory that way.

    The dealer say it's rare is trying to screw you.

    I'm going to guess it's a Gen2 with no light rail. The finish on those tended to wear down to a flat grey after a while.

    Yeah its seemed kinda fishy but the gun looks legit. All the markings are on the slide so im not sure. I think im just going to pay $500 for a brandnew 19.

    i dunno about THAT particular glock but i highly recommend outfitting your gunsafe w/ a G17. I love mine.

  14. just get the used one, it still has the tenifer process in the metal, that coating wont hurt anything

    i would pay the $50 for the new one. It is only yours and you dont have to worry that someone else has shoot 50000 rounds through it.
