no gym for home

do i take the week off (im on purs routine, id miss exactly 1 week of it)

or

do bodyweight shit? lunge squat pushups pullups etc etc etc

what would be better as far as making gains, rest or keep going with non gym shit for a week

Go for a run and do bodyweight shit

pretty much nobody here legit needs a "rest"

edit: well maybe timb, pur, and ray because they have arthritis and dusty, brittled old man bones

Is there any supplements out there that can counter the sleepy effects of tryptophan? Other than caffeine.

I try to go for a short walk or something to make sure my metabolism is ready for the turkey bomb, and try to stay standing after I eat for a while

Yeah nothing beats a nap I suppose. Especially the one after feeling the effects of increased oxytocin.

all the recent studies I've read on tryptophan say it has very little to do with making people drowsy. They all point to the fact that huge meals associated with holidays have more to do with drowsiness.

all your blood rushes to your GI tract to digest, leaves your brain all alone in that big empty skull
