finally get to try out my 10/22 in the woods
same here, except I'm also going pigeon shooting.
I'm bringing my Mossberg 500 and Savage 93R17
Everyone's going hunting tomorrow. I'm going possum hunting tomorrow night.
Oh and you're 10/22 looks exactly like mine. What scope is that?
Trying to convince myself to buy one too.
my 10/22 has only ever taken down one furry woodland creature.
i have one on my savage .17 too
i want to go w/ the .308
Heres a vid that you might find really helpful for skinning a squirrel. Last time I skinned one, it took a longtime.
Skinning a squirrel? Do you actually eat them? or do you keep the fur?
probably the former
Who the fuck eats squirrel?
I've known people to grill it and make stews...it seems like alot of work for the little bit of meat you'd get from such a small animal but...
We had a damn New York yankee ask that at a camp I worked at one time. Everyone in the room but him raised their hand, he had this great expression on his face.
But we had him drinking sweet tea by the end of the season.
Yeah, I'd just shoot the fuckers for fun... I'd leave their corpses behind too. Give the other animals a free meal.
Did you watch that video he posted? That guy was fuckin hillbilly, I would imagine he might make a squirrel schishkabob
I'll stick with cows, chickens, hogs, deer, moose, etc.
not a member of hunting crew. I can understand why people do it generally, but it just isn't for me.
I ate it once, but we also had steak cooking at the time, so I went for the steak.
Nice choice on the case....Flambeau, got a few myself.
I need to try squirrel some time. I had rabbit a week ago, and wild pig. I liked the rabbit much more than wild pig actually.
its not bad, everyone should try it once.
Wow, I didn't know anyone actually ate squirrel meat. I might have to give it a try one of these days.
