Chophouse, Crescent City Steakhouse (oldest one in the US, IIRC), and Briquette.

WWII museum if you think she's old enough. That place is incredible. The "4D" movie-mentary narrated by Tom Hanks is fantastic. Kiddo would love that. Get snowed on, smoked out, all kinds of neat effects.

Maybe it was oldest continually operating? I honestly mostly remember the "bathroom" tile, closed booths with the light you signal for the waitstaff, and the steak coming out on a plate solo, sizzling in butter.

I'm pretty sure it was Cafe Beignet I went to for breakfast/brunch. I dont think it was Du Monde. Looking at where it's at, I'm almost positive it was the one on the corner of Decatur St. Was so good.

WW2 museum was great, but I went through it somewhat quickly until I got to the D-Day floor or section. That was amazing to me, took my time. Certainly dont remember a 4D movie, maybe that was before I went, or I was too fucking cheap to pay for it. Which given when I went, is likely. Doubt the daughter will be into that place though.

The WW2 museum is one of the best museums of any kind I've ever been to and way too big to actually see in one day imho
