FML. Guess I'll stock to 50 yards and squint really hard.
AR15 and a .22.
binoculars? some cheap 10x40s should be plenty for 50-100 yds
Shoot N C targets are worth their weight in gold.
25 cents a sheet if you buy from Walmart.
Spending a little more on targets significantly improves the range experience IMHO. Either print your own to be a cheap bastard, or buy shoot n c targets.
Paying 25 cents for range paper targets is the worst thing to do IMHO.
I couldnt find them last night. I'm going right after work.
Hmm maybe I will stop at Walmart.
Couldn't see shit with Shoot N C targets last time I went rifle shooting at 50 yards. Neither could two of my buddies, they are okay for pistol SD range shooting but at 30yard+ pretty much useless.
I got tired of lugging along my 10/22 with a 3-9x using that as a spotting scope, so I got a tasco 10x monocular for like $12 at walmart.
Oh yeah the shoot-n-c targets help but you won't be having much fun at 50 yards without any optics.
The closest range here rents them for a couple of bucks. They're not the best but it's a true spotting scope on a tripod.
shoot n c's with some good 10-12x binos works out to 100.
just keep the binos steady.
No shooting, ended up having to work a double
