I need to fill up a blog with a couple of good articles, any good sites out there?
articles on what?
Diets, weight loss... stuff like that...
People buy articles for blogs? I thought blogging was all personal.
I see articles being sold on DP all the time. They're probably pure shit with tons of spelling errors but
I can't stand shit people on DP write...fucking indian bastards.
WEIGHT LOOSE SECRETS DISKOVERED!
SIMPLETON MAN FIND LOSE WEIGHT PLAN TRULY WORK.
What is DP?
I might write them for you.
- I was a personal trainer (until I got tired of the industry being all about sales and not about knowledge or results (not that that even means anything because 99% of "personal trainers" are clueless anyway))
- I used to be a competitive lifter
- I'm editor for a bodybuilding ezine
But my articles are specific and detailed and aren't even in the same class as the bullshit fitness/diet articles you see on msn or other general community websites.
I'm also more expensive than what you probably want to pay for your blog.
Sounds like the emails we would get from our associates in India at one of my corporate jobs
Wow those people don't pay much. $2 and $3 per 500 words? Is this just designed to generate bullshit "content" for websites? Clearly those rates aren't going to attract experts in any field. For my last article I got paid roughly equivalent to $100 per page.
I feel like I have just stumbled into the dark side of internet business
I know a guy who does article writing and he is pretty good. PM me and I can refer you to him.
Can someone link me to a website that has an example of these $3 per 500 words articles? I want to see what they're used for and what the quality is.
You can find plenty of PLR articles/content on DigitalPoint for cheap. Not all that useful as is as hundreds/thousands are using it already. You can use the content as a basis for ideas to rewrite your own though. Or just use it as filler if you don't care about duplicate content.
But while weeding through all that crap you can find some decent article writers on there where you can get good, unique, stuff written for a pretty fair price. It's basically, "you get what you pay for" type of thing though so look for those that are not dirt cheap so you can get good unique content that won't be resold over and over...if that matters to you.
They can be used for lots of things. Many people use them to fill up sites/blogs to make them look active while injecting their affiliate links for related products and such. They are also kind of useful to submit to article directories, with your sites backlinks as the source, for driving targeted traffic back to your site.
Some write good content, you have to understand that $3 to an Indian will feed their 16 children for a week
None of the good ones write for $3...I tried. I seriously tested 25+ writers from DP, the only ones that didn't require rewrites cause their grammar/English wasn't so bad the price was prohibitive for what I needed it for.
Maybe I'm dumb, but what's wrong with some of the free content sites? articleslide.com has a bunch of good articles on that topic, and I can think of another dozen or so sites that give 'em away too. You have to keep the backlinks and author info in there of course.
Not mine, just helping a friend out...
Google doesn't like duplicate content
It's better to give than it is to receive lol.
If you are just looking for "filler" content to fill out your pages then they work ok. But since everyone and their mother will be using them it's not useful for search engine indexing. For that you need good unique articles.
But on the other hand, if you are the one giving the articles away you can get lots of easy and "free" linkbacks to your sites like that.
