Is there even such thing? I am getting mighty tired of every website having a pop-up add.
The Google Toolbar 2.0 comes with a great popup blocker.
You can also block images coming from ad servers, just by right-clicking...
do I have to run the toolbar to have that feature ?
Yes, but it's not gay like all the other tool bars out there. And you can shove it in the corner where you can't see it.
Teh I love Mozilla.
I Firebird. It's so easy to customize, and most of the customizations are on one site.
I use Pop Up Stopper Companion
does anyone know of a popup blocker that you can completely hide. Like so that the user has no idea that it's even there?
It's not a great idea to do that because some pop-ups are necessary. For example, IM on VB boards use pop-ups - google allows you to set certain sites to pop-up
true...most pop up blockers allow you to let things pass.
Blocked 826 popups for me.
I use mozilla www.mozilla.org
as stated 5 or 6 times, mozilla/firebird
it is a seperate browser no? need something that integrates into IE
you never said intergrates into IE. and why would u want to use a browser that has so many flaws? do you enjoy having your computer full of holes exposing any personal information on your computer? i know i dont. but its ur call!
Yep, works great...5148 pop-ups blocked (currently). And you can allow certain sites to allow pop-ups if you need to.
Because I love giving my information out to the world, but lets get back to the topic of is there a pop up blocker that you can hide without people knowing it's there?
I was reading their website, I couldn't see anything about integrating into IE.
Can you show me where the link is that has the add-in to IE?
well then...we are back at square one.
