Looking for a 1750 case to travel with a couple rifles and my glock.

You guys always seem to know about some guy that sells this or that for cheaper than I can find it on google :dunno:

Thanks :bigthumb: I need a case so I can bring my gunz to Houston with me rather than leave them with the movers :noes:

Those look nice but I'd rather have a black plastic case than an aluminum one. Personal preference, no real reason :hs:

Thefirestore.com has both Pelican and Hardigg Storm cases for what i believe to be very reasonable prices. I bought a 50" storm case from them for my .308 precision rifle and paid less than 200 bucks after shipping (that included 2nd day air!)

Not bad, anything in particular make it better than a Pelican or vice-versa?

The original price is good, but then they tack on a $15 'handling' charge and the Total price says 'before shipping'. I don't feel like filling out all my information to find out if there's an additional fee later on for shipping - do you remember?

I read an online review of a bunch of cases and the Cabelas' came out the best so I ordered that one. Gotta say I'm very pleased with it. Even the guy at the airline desk mentioned it was about the nicest one he'd seen. :big grin:

We'll have to go shooting when you get here. What brings you to Houston from the shitty city?

Current job wants me to work out of their Houston locations. They're covering all the expenses and it'll be a good change of pace for me.

    That's where you're moving too?

    I hate you :wtc:

I'll be moving into that area in about 8 months now when my apartment lease is up and I can buy something over there.

What are you bringing with you? :naughty: Get your CHL when you get here.

I'm doing the same thing. I'm moving to an apt for a year then buying. I looked at some townhomes but my downpayment won't be big enough until my end of year bonus :hs: It's a nice area :coold:

I don't come with anything fancy. My yugo SKS, old ass remington .22 rifle and G17 :hs:

    CHL is a must :o

I've had both on planes dozens of times. The Hardigg is baggage-handler proof, whereas the Pelican is baggage-handler resistant, and I know of people who beat on cases harder than I do who say the same. Both are good cases, but if the size I need is made by both, I'll take the Stormcase.

I don't really want to, but Allied vanlines won't move my guns so I have to bring them with me.

They're driving all my shit down. I'm just flying myself, a week's worth of clothes... and my guns :mamoru:

My apt is close to my office on Pinemont, what's the legality of carrying whilst riding a bicycle? :hsugh:
