I went and checked it out today ( http://www.one80sport.com/about/facility.asp#tour ) and they have everything there from the BBing side to Strongman stuff, looks like a great gym except that its gonna cost 70 bucks a month if I start and in another month it goes up to 90 bucks..

How much are your local gyms...this place allows everything and is never busy which I love.

Whoa, that's kinda high. We pay $50.00 a person at BAG. However, if it's got everything you want and when you want it then it's probably worth it.

Its got enough stuff there for anyone Olympic or amateur..its insane.

I went in around 2pm and there was only one kid there and later on at night a few local sports teams use the facility but its pretty low key.

I'd say that it would be worth it if you had a group to train with, but I wouldn't pay that much just to train by myself

Wow real nice. I don't like paying much over 30 a month though. I pay 30 a month for golds here in my area and I train at a powerlifting gym (garage gym) for free on tues/thurs so I get the best or both worlds for dirt cheap.

Back when I was a wee-little high schooler my parents got in on a deal at teh local gym where it was like a $300 initial fee per person but that locked in $6 per person for my mom and I and $7 for my dad PER MONTH

It later got bought out by 24 Hour fitness and now for $6 per month I can go to any club in the franchise. This place is nice too since it's in a fairly small town it's not horribly crowded, they have a full set of dumbells with doubles in everything up to 90lbs and then single sets up to 150 or 180 - don't remember because i rarely even look at those ones lol. Theres enough free weight equipment that it's rare to have to wait for anything except for the days that there are two idiots in the squat rack. I've never seen them bother anyone about doing any sort of oly style lifts either. I'm guessing they'd frown on chalk if you made a mess but otherwise I don't think it'd be an issue.

Place looks pretty nice. I paid $120 for 18 months. That is correct, 18. It pays to refer other people and getting credit for it.
