Pretty cool. Workin on getting all the slag off of it. Someone got a little happy with the torch.
better break out the welder
a Bren would actually be cool to have though
oh, it will be out soon, no worries
maybe in a bit
Damn, how many kits do you have going at this time?
dunno, the 42 and 34 are done minus touchup work.
probably have 4 active. 3 or 4 just sitting waiting for money to come to them to buy things.
wow. fuck removing the slag from some parts of this gun. receiver is so damn narrow and deep, cant get my dremel or grinder in there.
I believe Dremel makes an attachment that is like a speedo cable and is really flexible and extends the tip. That may work
Dremel 225. This version doesnt really have a buly end, so you might be able to get it in there.
hmm maybe. i'll see what i can do when the cutoff wheels get smaller
Niiiiice MKIII, is it .303 or .30?
Ahhh, so its .30?
So when are you going to post a pic thread just for your stuff?
dunno maybe sometime
on a related note, the dp28 bipod is the biggest piece of shit i have seen. that gun is awkward to hold to fire it without a pistol grip.
so how bad does torching fuck up the inside? Seems like alot of work to get it back to spec
not bad, just a little slag, mainly little balls of metal that stick just enough to not allow things to slide. so you mainly have to just get those off. The receiver got kinda warped in at the bottom, so I'll have to spread it a little bit, no biggie though.
nice! how much was it?
How much time do would you spend on fixing the reciever? Also, do you touch do anything to make it look like it hasn't been tourched or do you just leave it?
cost 175 without the barrel. barrel cost me 80.
time just depends on what needs to be done. just depends. I worked on it this weekend and besides grinding with a big grinder and spreading it alittle bit, it is ready to weld.
dunno what you are asking whether i touch anything? I weld the receiver up.
Sorry, I ment tourch. I ment did you make it look like it hadn't been tourched or did you just kind of leave it? Sorry for the typo.
