ISO 6400. Ridiculous.
ISO 25,600. even more ridiculouser
That really is a great article with some unique analysis.
I like this quote the best:
Must be nice to just be able to do all that haha
the one thing canon has right now that i want, that nikon doesnt have, it a selection of fast, wide primes.
thats exactly what I thought when I read that. Thats a shit ton of money to drop at one time.
I honestly believe that is only a matter of time, and probably not very much time at that. Considering Nikon went after Canon's great whites with their super tele launches last year and they have an already solid normal to short tele prime and zoom lines, the only deficiency left is with fast wides.
I see the author has also visited OT:
Hope so, everything is 2.8 up to 35mm, thats pretty weird.
Im not trying to bash Nikon..this is honestly what Ive heard.
I heard it was hard for them to make fast primes because the smaller diameter that the F mount uses. The EF mount is physically wider than the F mount with allows you to make fast glass (large rear elements) more readily.
if you like that comment, I should some of the emails my friend and I go back and forth on.
Interesting. at east sigma has a 30/1.4 that i've really enjoyed since i bought it.. but i'd love to have a 24 or widers
Well, IDK to be honest. Thats just something Ive heard one a couple different occasions
sadly this is probably more representative of the 28 1.4 price: http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-Nikon-AFD-...t-lens-D3_W0QQitemZ180258841120QQcmdZViewItem
we're best of friends... and obviously, we're just having fun. lol
this is just this morning.
yeah. i'm jealous of my friends and their primes. the 2 other people i'm starting a business with have:
14, 24, 28, 35, 50, 85, 100, 135
and i have:
such a great lens, but god DAMN that price.
Don't those regularly fetch like 3-4k on ebay?
Youve got to admit...it does sound kinda true haha
I didn't tell him, but he had a point there. didn't want to fill his head more.
I honestly had no idea Canon's don't have auto ISO. That's ridiculous and quite sad actually. It's an awesome feature.
