I am looking into finding a good hand grip for my AR-15. What brand or style should i get?
I like the rubber hogue. It is what I use.
I'm digging the magpul miad. The only complaint I have is more of an ar15 complaint. I've got pretty big hands and for optimal trigger finger placement I'd choose to run the largest backstrap on the grip. However doing so places my index finger too far back to pop the mag release without shifting my grip so I use the medium backstrap. I might try a larger mag release button, but the magpul grip itsself is nice. I can't stand the basic grip with the hump on the front.
Magpul Mission Adaptable Grip
i`ve only one i`ve messed with,is a tangodown battlegrip, but i`ve been thinking of picking up one of the MIADs
but i do like the battlegrip, fits my hands perfect
i have a magpul MIAD and it's pretty cool.
MIAD owner here. It like how its adjustable. The storage compartment is pretty much useless to me since its a bitch to pry open the cover.
I also have a Hogue rubber one. That fits my hands so nicely...and it feels great. Its completely different from the MIAD's material and texture. I like and would recommend either.
On the other hand, I have some RRA oem ones I am looking to get rid of
Mine came with a Hogue, I like it.
Thank you for all recommendations. I think i am going to go with the Hogue grip.
