Do any of you guys actively train your grip or is this just something that improves with time? I sparred a guy the other day who did not let me have a single grip. He would tear my hands off him with a quickness while I couldn't do anything against his vice grips. The guy is all around better than me but I used to be able to atleast get a few sweeps in on him. His new strategy left me completely clueless. I couldn't get a single move off and I felt like I've regressed. How can you hold a guys collar or sleeve if hes focusing on breaking your grips the whole time?
