can it be done? I have a freind whose looking for one
I know a guy who's cousin's sister's best friend's dog sniff the cat of this other guy at the park who's second cousin once removed got one for $200 over MSRP.
get a gt-r for msrp?? fat chance, dealers want to mark up the price on the gt-r
I remember hearing/reading about a dealer/s in South Carolina I think, that was selling them at MSRP. But this late in the game, I'm sure they're all, if not most, spoken for. So you're friend is assed out. Tell him, and by him I mean you, to lube up and get prepared to get raped in the ass for a GT-R.
by me, you mean him. I have no desire to own, or even sit in a gtr
ok that's a lie, I'd like to drive one....but not own one
thanks sport, I never would have known that
if your friend has the money to even buy one in the 1st place, then he could afford to pay what ever the mark up price is.
Yes, there are dealers that will sell them at msrp. I have a purchase order at msrp that I put a deposit on in January. Distribution is not even going to begin until July/August. I probably won't see a car until Oct-Dec. I don't care, I just want to get on this year.
You could put a deposit on a 2010. It isn't like there will be a 2009 sitting on a lot for sale at msrp or anything.
ib 100k minimum
which is steal a decent deal
I think my friend is getting his 7k over msrp. he did get a guarantee no more than that.
30,000 over sticker is a deal? you're a moron
so why don't we judge teh car you get for 100k, not the price vs msrp, just once
was that even english?
Instead of gauging price-paid against MSRP, why don't we for once judge what you pay for the car you recieve, regardless of MSRP.
will the gtr come with a clutch pedal may be in 10 model yr?
im hoping that the spec-v will have a 6 speed manual
that would be ftw, however the "slushbox" in the one now is actually an amazing piece of technology :hsr:
what the fuck are you blathering about? MSRP is what the manufacture suggests you pay for the car...that covers costs + overhead + profit....what kind of mental defective thinks that this isn't a good way to price cars...that's right you. stop posting
Wtf do people complain about a true sequential transmission?!
It's not a fucking slushbox, or some "tiptronic" bullshit you see in a lexus. You still have to shift the thing manually. You may not have a traditional shifter and clutch pedal, and have some paddles in its place, but its still a fucking manual. I think most people complaining about this have driven some "tiptronic" equipped car and think that's how true sequential transmissions work.
let's say theoretically GM sold the new Camaro Z28 at 15K. no gimmicks, Z28 at 15k, but for whatever reason you had to pay 25k...wouldn't you still agree the car for teh price is a decent value? that's what i am arguing here that in the midst of the hype machine causing huge add-ons by Nissan dealerships, teh car is actually still a pretty decent value at 100k. obviously paying MSRP is better.
yeah. I think people want a manual because they feel that's part of teh sports car experience
no I would not agree...how is paying MORE then something is worth a "good deal" I guess you think $4.00/gal is a good deal too since it's a decent value. God damn I hate kids
then why the fuck are you asking the question if you already knew the answer...
not a bad deal considering how many people want it and its just coming to the states... people will pay a premium to have it first...
i understood it perfectly
i wouldnt hold my breath . id like to see it in a 6mt as well, but i do believe they are banking on computers shifting faster than humans, and they are fighting the battle of performance over what people want
it would be sweet in a manual though
i hate people that dont understand supply and demand...
this includes you kid.
