That's ridiculous, the car is made to be driven fairly hard....

But like most well rounded sports cars, it's not built to be launched hard repeatedly and it's silly to think that hard launches should be regarded as anything other than abuse.
Let's hope Nissan reviews his blackbox and voids his warranty...

I believe there is already a movement to file a class action suit against Nissan, though I doubt it will get much ground. Should have bought a Porsche or Corvette, at least they are designed to really race.

Seriously. People want to fucking launch hard, abuse the drive-train, and expect the Manufacturer to pick up the bill when it breaks .

AWD launches are inherently harder on transmissions than RWD or FWD. If there's too much power with RWD, the wheels just spin. With AWD, it goes back into the transmission.

RWD doesn't have nearly the same stress/effect as AWD does on the drive-train.

It's a fucking AWD drivetrain. It's going to have more moving parts and less space to put them in. It's going to be more fragile and it's not built for drag racing.
So build the transmission to withstand it since the original design of the drivetrain was to put out that much power and transfer it to the ground? I know it sounds silly...
