is it worth playing the free trial? is it a good game?
Yes and yes.
Its a good action/strategy game with a hint of rpg.
Dont start playing it expecting it to be a mmorpg or a full online rpg.
i should probably hop on today.
It's a good multiplayer action adventure game, it is not an MMO
Add me to your buddy list:
I've beaten Props, working on Factions, will install GWEN after beating Factions.
I was thinking about playing it earlier.
I get back to that game every few months. Its fun to play for the quick PvP matches.
it's good if you have the computer to run it.
I personally didn't like the game, waste of 50$
great game IMO.
Great game, I've played all of it but Eye of the North. It's great if you want to play an mmo without much time commitment.
Plus with all the content you can pick up the original GW, or Factions for something like 20 bucks. Then by the time you finish those the newer ones will be down to 20 bucks.
Best value game since DII
3 years ago I poo poo'd this game but I've recently given it another chance and I'm really getting hooked. It's much cooler than I thought it was.
However, I'm sick of playing games with asshats and none of my friends play so I don't usually group with people I just hire henchmen and do my thing. It's fun and relaxing and I can on, do some shit, then log and go about my life in 30 mins or so. It's great for a quick fun mission or 3.
Only thing I can say about it is actually trying to beat the game in some places require henchman setups or specific Hero builds to complete. Maybe it is just a MMORPG thing and I can't seem to grasp it, or maybe I'm too used to the idea of a Warrior can destroy ANYTHING as long as he stays alive.
IMO that's one of the best things about it. It's very challenging at some parts, but never so challenging that you think it's impossible to advance.
