damn... still goes to show, that a pistol is used only to get back to your rifle.
amazing that he took down all those cops in the courthouse who all had pistols, and all he had was an ak.
also a testament to the authority of the AK and the AR.
question though. Why did the "marksman's" AR have an eotech mounted below the line of sight of the carry handle and the front sight. Seems kinda pointless there, but it got the job done. Cop had balls going out in the open like that to take the shot.
I find it funny that all the single cop cruisers around here have M4s and shotguns in the center console. Taxpayer's money to good use
Was that another unit directly in his line of fire behind the perp?
I was looking at just that. I was thinking..."I would hate to have been in that white car'
when I read this, I thougt it was OR, not and with regards to the guns. I actually think that the PD at UC merced is going to not have shotguns in the console, but ARs from LMT or Colt instead. Anyone know how common it is for PDs to do this? it makes sense where we are (longer ranges than a regular city), but its really the first I have heard of PD doing this.
Fucking asshole should have suffered a little more though.
The Highway patrol here has ARs, I was sat in a front seat, while my car was towed, for driving on a suspended license, it wasnt locked down.
shit he got owned
I remember that, that was in TX
that was a C-more sight i think. it was mounted in the line of sight
That's the one where the CCW died but he died saving a boy.
according to ar15.com, you are corrct
That's some crazy shit.
after review it still looks like an eotech, but it looks like it's on a rail just above the line of sight of the iron sights. still an awkward setup.
that looks nothing like an EOTech. LOL
Everywhere around here, every officer at least has a 12 gauge for their patrol car, but most buy an AR instead, or have both.
Like Jeepilot said, we were taught to use our handguns to get back to the rifles.
