Anyone know where I can buy a bunch of shitty broken handguns by tomorrow?
So 60 police officers will be taken off the streets to stand around at a gun buy back
Sounds like an invitation for crime elseware.
Go see if you can pick up anything good. I'm sure $75 cash will be a lot more appealing to people than a giftcard.
I would take the $75 Walmart gift card and then use it to buy $75 worth of WWB ammo.
Stupid gun buyback.
Theyll be lined up outside the gun drop off. That way they know that their victims are defenseless
NC needs to hurry up and have one of these
Check out J&G sales before the next buyback. They have gunsmith batches of broke handguns, shotguns, or rifles available
10 Handguns for $200. All broke of course
That'd be like a $550 profit.
And... Get about 10 of your friends or so, all of you go in 2 or 3 times, and youve got yourself enough to get a .50 cal upper
But then you also have to go to the trouble of listing the gift cards on ebay or something
I almost kinda wish we had gun buybacks here
@ the revolvers
i wonder if they'll take a zip gun? $74 profit?
One of them is just a frame, not even a trigger.
I'm seriously thinking about organizing with some friends to get a bunch of guns like those, flooding a buy back, then using the money to buy new guns all the while having a reporter do a story about it.
I would definitely order those 10+ guns to do this if I had more notice, the only downside is that i'd have to pay FFL fee's times 10 and the cheapest FFL around me that I know of it is $25 per gun + $5 background check fee per gun. fuck that.
Would it be one ffl if it came in one box or do they do it per gun?
My dad is friends with a licensed dealer
He is an old guy so hell most probably take forever but Im sure I could get free transfers through him. But Id rather go down to So. IL and get a quick transfer from the local redneck dealer
Just have to find an FFL that's willing to do a cheap transer, and you're in business.
they charge you to run the background check?
yeah this has never been thought of before in every other OT buyback thread
Someone should show up at this thing and look around at the ones they buy back from people and offer the cops $100 for one and see if they'll sell.
I called my brother last night to see if they'd be interested in it. (He works at a local news station in Jacksonville.) He said he's going to run it by them, thinks it'd be an awesome story. So, .
It's $10 here. The You have to pay the state for it. I just pay my FFL $35 and they take care of everything though
if i rmemeber correctly, this only applies to "functioning" guns.
